Cut Removes the currently selected object. It may be pasted back
later as long as nothing else is cut or copied first. For information on cutting
goals, see the section titled Moving Goals. For information on cutting tasks, see the section
titled Moving Tasks. |
Copy Copies the currently selected object to the pasteboard so that it
can be pasted back either into the same place (effectively duplicating the object) or into
another place. Copy works the same as Cut except that the selected
object is not removed. |
Paste Pastes an object previously cut or copied into the currently
selected view. The object pasted must be compatible with the view it is being pasted
into. For example, objects pasted into the Task window must be tasks. For
information on pasting goals, see the section titled Moving Goals. For information on pasting tasks, see the section
titled Moving Tasks. |
Delete Deletes the currently selected object. The object is not copied
it to the pasteboard. The deleted object cannot be recovered. If you
want to option of recovering the object, use the Cut command instead. |
Duplicate Creates a copy of the currently selected object. This
command is equivalent to a Cut immediately followed by a Paste. |
Merge Merges the currently selected objects into one object. When two or
more roles, goals, or tasks are selected, their children will be merged into the first
selected item. This is useful when you move a task from one goal to another, only to
find that you already have a task by that name. With the Merge command, you can
combine the two tasks' appointments. |
Note that merging tasks will require that all appointments be loaded if all of the
tasks' appointments are not already loaded. This is done to ensure that all of the tasks'
appointments are merged. Doing this could take a minute. |

Select All Selects all the text of the currently selected description
text or mission statement. Currently this command only works on text. In the
future it may also work on other objects, so you could, for instance, select all the tasks
in the task view or all the appointments in a schedule. |
