General Preferences

The general preferences control how Chronographer displays dates, times, and time summaries, what it does when it is launched, what it displays in its icon, and which web browser it uses.

The following options are available:

Date Style.  This determines how dates are displayed in schedules.   You can select between "month day, year" and "day month year".  This setting does not affect how dates are displayed in the application icon.
Time Style.  This determines how times are displayed in schedules.  You can select between 12-hour or 24-hour style and between a colon or decimal to separate hours from minutes. This setting does not affect the application icon.
Sum Style.  This determines how time summaries are displayed throughout the program.  You can select between colon style and decimal style.  Colon style uses the format HH:MM and represents the sum as the number of hours and minutes, separated by a colon.  Decimal style uses the format HH.DD and represents the sum as the number of hours and fraction of hours in decimal format.
Open schedule on launch.  If this box is checked, Chronographer will automatically open a schedule window for the current day when it is launched.
Hide on autolaunch.  If this box is checked, Chronographer will automatically hide itself and will not display any of its windows when it is autolaunched by the Workspace.
Display clock in icon.  If this box is checked, Chronographer will display the current date and time in its application icon, just like the Preferences application does.
Web Service.  This specifies which service is used to invoke a browser for displaying Chronographer's home page when the Info-->Web Site... command is used.  You can select a browser from the pull-down list labeled Browser or you can type the name of the service directly.
