The Jump To panel

Although the date buttons at the top of the schedule window are usually all you need to select another date, sometimes it's more convenient to jump directly to another date.  That can be done with the Jump To panel, which can be opened by clicking on the Jump To... button in the lower left corner of the schedule window or through the Jump To... menu command.

The top part of the Jump To panel contains a date field, in which you can enter a new date by clicking on the arrows next to the date elements or by typing the new date directly into the date fields. You can also jump to a particular week or day of the year by entering a week or day number.

In the middle of the panel is a date calculator.  You can use it to add or subtract a specified number of days, weeks, months, or years to or from the date displayed in the date field.  Clicking on the plus sign changes it to a minus.  Clicking again changes it back. The text field is used to type in the number of units of the calculation, and the pop-up list is used to specify the type of units. Once the calculation is entered, click on the Adjust button to apply the calculation to the date displayed at the top of the panel.

In the bottom-left corner of the panel is a button labeled Today. Clicking on it immediately changes the date at the top of the panel to the current day.

Once you have entered the desired date, click OK to change the schedule to that date or click Cancel to not make any changes.
